Since 1980, Irish Acres has been breeding Quarter Horses and Paints with an emphasis on Foundation Quarter Horse lines. We aren’t interested in fads or fashions: we are dedicated to breeding quality, correct horses with good bone, a good mind, and athletic ability.

Color is a passion, but because we will not sacrifice quality for color, we’ve been extraordinarily selective about our breeding stock, with close attention to genetics, pedigree, and conformation. The “whole package” matters more than the color on the horse or the names on the pedigree.

Our horses excel as all-arounders, but shine in ranch work (both in the show pen and on the range), speed events working western, drill, and more. They are particularly exceptional trail horses, with good minds and calm dispositions. Our stock is bred and raised to go all day and stay healthy and happy for years.

Irish Acres horses have the personality and temperament for beginners as well as the ability and grit for the cowboys.
